I was diagnosed with a squamous cell carcinoma in June of this year and was told because of its proximity to my eye that I would have to have "plastic surgery" done after the surgery to remove the cancer. I have had MOHS surgery before on my face to remove cancers, but never anything close to my eye. I need to tell you I was scared that I would have an awful scar or even worse that my eye would droop after the surgery. I met Dr. Tara Goecks in July and we talked about the surgery and the process and while I was still nervous I felt confident I was in good hands. My confidence in Dr. Goecks was spot on. It is now two months after the surgery and I can not tell where the surgical site was. Beyond that (and that is huge), I had zero discomfort after the surgery. I was sure I was going to need prescription pain medication and the truth is I didn't even need tylenol. I repeat I had zero pain. No scar, no pain! I can't say enough good things about Tara Goecks and her surgical abilities. She offices in Fante Eye & Face Centre and if you need any kind of plastic surgery I highly recommend you meet with her. I rarely write a review on doctors or products, but I made an exception in this case because Dr. Goecks is awesome. Ron Bernstein
