The use of lasers has expanded enormously in recent years, and one of their invaluable uses is for repairing human tissue.
There are many kinds of lasers, all man-made, and all made for a specific purpose. Some particular features distinguish a laser light from other lights such as incandescent bulbs or neon lights.

Dr. Fante and the team use the Sciton laser system, which provides lasers for a wide range of procedures:

Laser Treatment Before and After
Types of Laser Beams
Laser beams are:
- Directional – they focus precisely, as opposed to flashlights, for instance, which send their light rays out in many directions.
- Coherent – the particles in the light are organized, and they move in step with each other.
- Monochromatic – only one color is contained in the laser beam, as opposed to white light, which contains all colors. Lasers can even be in color ranges invisible to our eyes, such as ultraviolet (above the violet vibration) and infrared (below the red vibration).
Lasers come in many strengths, and only some are appropriate for use on human tissue.
Halo Laser Treatment
Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser involves two wavelengths. The first wavelength heats up collagen beneath the skin to firm and tighten. The second smooths the texture of the skin. Overall, this treatment minimizes wrinkles, improves texture and tone, and reduces sunspots.
BBL Photo Facial Treatment
BBL is a popular photo facial treatment for sun damage, age spots, rosacea, acne or broken capillaries.
Forever Young BBL
Forever Young BBL from Sciton is a treatment that uses BBL to fix the appearance of aging. The treatment does this by sending light energy deep into the skin. The results are immediate, visibly younger-looking skin! The treatment is for anyone who wants to enhance the appearance of their skin.
Skintyte Treatment
This laser treatment can tighten saggy skin on many areas of the body. SkinTyte has been successful on the tummy, neck, thighs, buttocks, and more.
Laser Hair Removal
If you are ready to get rid of your unwanted hair for good, try laser hair removal. With the help of our highly qualified staff, you can finally embrace a comfortable option for dealing with unwanted hair. Treatment with lasers does require more than one visit because not all of the hair will be in the active growth phase during the first treatment. Patients who return for follow-up treatments report an 80 to 90 percent reduction in unwanted hair. Once the treatments are complete, most patients are able to throw away the razors and tweezers for good.
Laser Vein Treatment
The best and gold standard treatment for spider veins and broken capillaries.
Side Effects of Laser Treatments
The side effects of laser treatments include the following:
- Redness
- Swelling
- Itching
- Acne
- Scarring
