What is photo rejuvenation BBL?

BBL stands for Broad Band Light. This is a pulsed light treatment for the skin which has virtually no side effects and can be completed in about 15 to 30 minutes

Most often it’s done on skin areas that receive the most sun damage, such as the hands, face, neck, chest, and shoulders.

If you have any sun damage or age spots, rosacea, or broken capillaries, photo rejuvenation may be your best and easiest treatment option.

How does it work?

The gentle heat applied by the pulsed light soaks through to the skin layer underneath the surface. It penetrates those cells and stimulates them to produce collagen, which helps your skin revitalize itself.

The procedure

  • You will wear goggles to protect your eyes from the light
  • You’ll feel you skin becoming warm and maybe a kind of soft snapping sensation
  • Afterwards there may be some redness which will fade in a hour or so
  • It’s usually best to have 3 or 4 treatments
  • There’s no recovery period
  • You can wear makeup immediately afterwards
